Anthony Elmore is based out the Atlanta burbs, but has lived in Tampa Bay and Prague. When not writing, he’s Internet version of the all-purpose handyman. Please don’t call him an “Internet Guru.”
Summer is so well-spoken. Were she in power, would she say the same things? If her botton-line was being threatened as the “Robber-Barons” she speaks of, would she act differently? I believe she would. I hope she does succeed, and never forgets her experiences. Should she become accustomed to a lifestyle that is priveledged, with the finest food, homes, cars, and everything else, would she be willing to give up some of those luxuries for the sake of her employees not losing their jobs? Would she forsake her salary?

I was struck by how much Summer felt she was entitled to by virtue of her existence. I stopped listening when she started in on the corporate bigwigs. Did she ever once take any responsibility for her own situation. “The government still hasn’t given me this, the government still hasn’t given me that.”
She said herself that 4000 people showed up for 2000 unskilled job openings, and then she claims that these jobs should pay more? Supply and demand…
She was very well spoken, but she needs to take some responsibility for her own position in life.
